Art Club- For students in grades 3 - 8 to learn about a variety of art forms. Students may choose from sculpture, fiber arts, drawing, painting and jewelry making.
Little Flowers Club- Designed for students in grades K - 8 to learn about various saints and important virtues. Each session begins and ends with a special prayer. Students complete a project or craft at every session.
Dance/ Ballet- Available to students in Pre-K4 and Kindergarten. The Little Dance Company, located in Brookfield, has forged a relationship with SJS and offers weekly dance classes at SJS.
Odyssey of the Mind- is an international educational program that provides creative problem-solving opportunities for students from K - Grade 8. Team members apply their creativity to solve problems that range from building mechanical devices to presenting their own interpretation of literary classics. They then bring their solutions to competition on the local, state, and World level.
Cooking Club- For students in grades 2 and 3 with a focus on kitchen safety, healthy living, and allergy awareness.
Band - Provided by the Paul Effman Music Service, Program consists of 30-minute weekly small group lessons and weekly full band rehearsals. Daytime program lesson times rotate each week. The rotating schedule helps students avoid missing the same subject each week. Instruments: Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, Trombone, Bells, Drums and Violin. Available in grades 1 - 8.
Track and Field - For students in grades K - 8. The track and field season begins in Mid-March and ends at the end of May. The meets are held on Sundays at Immaculate High School in Danbury. Practices for grades K-2 and 3-8 are held separately. Practices are scheduled each week and held on the SJS grounds.
